A board-ready way to report on AI visibility

AI visibility is a new enough metric that most boards and executive teams don’t yet have an intuition for what a "good" number looks like. Bringing the right three figures to a quarterly review makes the conversation concrete instead of abstract.

First: your overall visibility score and how it moved week-over-week. Second: your mention rate against the two or three competitors that actually matter to the business, not an exhaustive competitive set. Third: the number of open, unaddressed fixes — the gap between where you are and where you could be with known, actionable changes.

The one chart that does the most work is a simple trend line of score over time with competitor lines overlaid on the same axis. It turns "are we visible in AI answers" from a subjective claim into a chart anyone in the room can read in five seconds — and it’s usually the slide that gets screenshotted into the next planning doc.
